In my diploma paper I discuss polymer clay and it's warious options of creating. In introduction, I define what polymer clay is, how and for what it is used. Furthermore, I define historical development, until the beginning in Germany. I present indispensable accessories for working with polymer clay. Following-up, there is overview of six most common techniques and some artworks of each individual technique. Artists Jeffrey Lloyd Dever and Kathleen Dustin are presented at the end of theoretical part. In the practical part I made three small art objects where I combined polymer clay with natural materials. There is introduction of materials at the beginning of pedagogical part, which are most frequently used in teaching sculpture lessons. There is lesson plan and analysis of the lessons and art works of children who attend my summer workshop.
