Zasnova modela za evalvacijo elementov oblačnih platform

Abstract
Oblačne platforme so trenutno zelo aktualna tematika v računalništvu. Ker je področje oblačnih platform relativno novo, podjetja pogosto nimajo jasno izoblikovanega pogleda na to, kako različni deležniki (npr. uporabniki, razvijalci, vodstvo) gledajo na različne karakteristike oblačnih platform (npr. varnost, zanesljivost, razpoložljivost, prilagodljivost). Ker so lastnosti oblačne platforme različno pomembne za različne elemente informacijske rešitve v oblaku, smo v magistrskem delu izdelali model, ki je namenjen ocenjevanju elementov oblačne platforme. Predlagani model ocenjuje posamezne elemente s treh vidikov: tehnološkega, uporabniškega in vodstvenega. Z modelom zlahka prepoznamo kritične elemente, ki niso ustrezni. Na podlagi rezultatov lahko tudi oblikujemo priporočila za izboljšave. V okviru predlaganega modela smo razvili tri različne tipe vprašalnikov, ki omogočajo vrednotenje elementov oblaka z omenjenih treh vidikov. Naš model je bil preizkušen na primeru informacijske rešitve v oblaku, ki jo razvija slovensko podjetje. Rezultati uporabe modela v praksi so potrdili njegovo koristnost in vodstvu izbranega podjetja omogočili izboljšanje njihovih odločitev v zvezi z ocenjevano informacijsko rešitvijo v oblaku.

Title:Design of the model for evaluation of cloud platform elements
Abstract:
Cloud computing is currently a very relevant topic in computer science. Since the cloud computing area is relatively new, companies often don’t have a clear view of how different stakeholders (e.g. users, developers, managers) perceive the different characteristics of cloud platforms (e.g. security, reliability, availability, scalability). Since the characteristics of cloud platforms are of varying importance for different elements of the cloud information solution, we created a model, which evaluates cloud elements from three different aspects: technological, user and managerial. With this model, inadequate elements are easily recognized. Considering the results, we draw up the recommendations on improvements. Within the proposed model, we produced the three different types of a questionnaire enabling evaluation of the elements of the cloud, taking these three aspects into account. Our model was also tested on a case of a cloud solution, which is being developed by a Slovenian company. The results of the use of the model in practice confirmed its usefulness, thereby facilitating the improvement of their decisions regarding the evaluated cloud information solution.
