Kemiluminiscenca v svetlečih palčkah

V moji diplomski nalogi je predstavljena kemiluminiscenca v svetlečih palčkah. Kemiluminiscenca je sevanje svetlobe značilne valovne dolžine kot posledica eksotermne kemijske reakcije. Svetleče palčke so zanimiv in enostaven pripomoček za preučevanje kemijskih in fizikalnih procesov. V njih so različna barvila, ki prehajajo v vzbujeno stanje. V teoretičnem delu so opisani ključni pojmi, pomembni za razumevanje luminiscenčnih procesov ter mehanizem reakcije kemiluminiscence v svetleči palčki. V eksperimentalnem delu sem merila in analizirala spektre, ki jih sevajo svetleče palčke. Merila in analizirala sem tudi pojemanje jakosti svetlobnega toka pri reakciji kemiluminiscence v odvisnosti od časa. S pomočjo literature sem določila barvila, ki jih uporabljajo za vzbujanje elektronov. Spektre sem posnela s šolskim spektrometrom, spreminjanje jakosti svetlobnega toka pa sem pridobila s pomočjo umerjenega fotoaparata ter računalniškega programa ImageJ.

• Title: Chemiluminescence in the glowstick

Abstract

In my diploma thesis I present chemiluminescence in the glowsticks. Chemiluminiscence is the radiation of light as a result of the exothermic chemical reaction. Glowsticks are interesting and easy tool for studying the chemical and physical processes. In the theoretical part I explain the key concepts that are important for understanding the processes of luminescent reaction and the mechanism of chemiluminescence in the glowsticks. In the experimental part I present specta of the glowsticks and graphs that show the variation of luminosity in the reaction of chemiluminescence as a function of time. I recorded the spectra by using a school spectrometer. For the assessment of variations in luminosity I use a camera and the computer program ImageJ.
