The thesis focuses on the phenomenon of visible and street homelessness in the city centre of the Municipality of Ljubljana. The first part presents the basic concepts and lessons learned from abroad. In the empirical research I applied the method of rapid assessment and response (RAR), in which I used four data sources: field observations, semi-structured interview with homeless woman, focus group of professional workers in organizations in the field of homelessness and semi-structured interview with the representative of the City municipality of Ljubljana. The survey shows the current situation and needs of street homeless in our country, and responses and views of respondents to the said phenomenon. I conclude with recommendations and suggestions made through the task, which are important for the successful rescue of vision and street homelessness.
