In our graduation thesis we compare the marcation of owner's (land registry) borders with typical relief lines in the land registry municipality Črešnjice. All the analyses are carried out on the basis of graphic system data of the land register, laser scanning data of Slovenia and terrain measurements. Our assumption is that in some typical cases the border lines of the land are running parallel or even coincide with typical relief shapes such as shore terraces, forest paths and similar features. It is even possible to determine the border demarcation of the land registry municipality by recognizing the typical relief lines. Furthermore, this thesis presents the theoretical base of position accuracy, land registry display data, attempted land registry display data improvements, data used, the area of processing, software used and the description of terrain measurements. The results are compared with owners' land borders and typical relief shapes obtained from aerial laser scanning data and terrain measurements.
