Abstract
Pri sodobnih digitalnih kamerah je funkcija avtomatskega prilagajanja na svetlobne razmere okolja pri zajemu motiva nepogrešljiva. Večina komercialnih izdelkov ima počasno prilagajanje na svetlobne razmere, zato je proces prilagajanja počasen in v primerih hitrega spreminjanja svetlobnih razmer tudi nenatančen. Z uvedbo kriterijske funkcije, ki temelji na analizi histograma slike, je mogoče zasnovati algoritem za nastavljanje parametrov senzorja CMOS, ki v delno linearnem načinu ekspozicije omogoča zajem široko dinamičnega območja scene. V delu predlagam algoritem, ki temelji na kriterijski funkciji težišča (COG) histograma in prilagaja nastavitve CMOS senzorja ter s tem omogoča zajem širšega dinamičnega razpona scene. Algoritem uporablja tudi dve pomožni kriterijski funkciji, ki prav tako temeljita na analizi histograma in se uporabljata za stabilnejše delovanje in boljše rezultate, kar je prikazano v rezultatih. Algoritem je zasnovan tako, da glede na porazdelitev sivinskih nians po histogramu optimizira parametre CMOS senzorja in teži k HDR sliki.

ALGORITHM FOR ADJUSTING CMOS SENSOR PARAMETERS BASED ON IMAGE HISTOGRAM
Abstract:
Automatic adjustment function for the environment light conditions at the time of scene capture is essential in modern digital cameras. Most commercial products incorporate slow adjustment to the light conditions and in case of quick lightning changes the adjustment is often inaccurate. In this paper, an algorithm for adjusting the CMOS sensor parametres based on COG of a histogram, enabling high dynamic range imaging is prposed. Algorithm employs two additional criteria functions that are histogram based and are used for more stable function and better results which is shown in results. Algorithm is designed in a way that it optimizes CMOS sensor parameters based on histogram distribution and therefore aims to produce HDR image.
