Tehniška historičnost pri poučevanju osnovnošolske tehnike in tehnologije : diplomsko delo

Abstract
Diplomsko delo zajema vlogo in obseg tehniške historičnosti pri poučevanju osnovnošolske tehnike in tehnologije in je primarno namenjeno učitelju tehnike. V delu ugotavljamo njeno stopnjo vključenosti v učbenikih in delovnih zvezkih za 6.–8. razred osnovne šole, izhajajoči iz učnega načrta tehnike in tehnologije. Najprej so opisani bistveni navezujoči se pojmi, kot so tehnika, tehnologija, invencija in inovacija. V nadaljevanju je predstavljen razvoj tehnike in tehnologije skozi čas, ki je razdeljen v pet obdobij. V vsakem za tehniko značilnem obdobju je izpostavljenih nekaj dominantnih odkritij. Prvo obdobje, prazgodovino, označujejo enostavni izdelki, kot so ogenj, lok, puščica. V drugem obdobju, v starem veku, ko se pojavijo prve civilizacije, omenjamo ročico, kolo, papir. Za srednji vek, tretje obdobje, je značilen izum mlina na veter ter kompas. Četrto obdobje, novi vek, zaznamuje industrijska revolucija parni stroj in za zadnje, peto obdobje, je značilna informacijska sodobnost, ki še traja. Sledi pregled učnega načrta, iz katerega so izpisani učni cilji in standardi, ki so primerjani z vsebinami iz učbenikov in delovnih zvezkov za 6. razred, 7. razred in 8. razred osnovne šole pri predmetu tehnika in tehnologija. Na podlagi pregleda podajamo predloge smiselnega vključevanja tehniške historičnosti po posameznih vsebinskih sklopih in pregledu doseganja zastavljenih ciljev. Delo zaključujemo z rezultati obravnavane tematike in podanimi ugotovitvami, ki bi izboljšali proces izobraževanja predmeta tehnike in tehnologije v osnovni šoli.

Title:History of technology at primary school design and technology teaching
Abstract:
Thesis covers the role and scope of history of technology in teaching elementary design and technology compulsory subject in the 6th – 8th grade. It encompasses degree of historic involvement in design and technology curriculum and the existing textbooks and workbooks. It is primarily intended for a technology teacher. First, we describe the essential adjoining concepts such as engineering, technique, technology, inventions and innovations. Then we present the development of technique/engineering and technology through time, which is divided into five periods (prehistory, ancient times, the middle ages, new age and information modernity). In each of them we highlight some of the dominant discoveries. Further, we revise the curriculum from the technology -historic aspect and extract relevant learning goals and standards. The textbooks and workbooks goals and standards content coverage is examined. Based on the review we provide suggestions for meaningful involvement of history of technology by individual content sets and an overview of achieved goals. In conclusion, we present the results of the topics covered and give the conclusions to improve the engineering educational process of design and technology in elementary school.
