In the diploma thesis, the Slovenian land administration system as well as global trends in this area are presented, where the importance of establishing of a 3D real property cadastre is outlined. Here, challenges in the field of mass data acquisition using UAV are discussed. Nowadays, unmanned aerial vehicles are found in different areas, including land survey profession, where measurement carried out by unmanned aerial vehicles, are becoming more and more common way of spatial data acquisition.
The thesis presents this technology, describing the process of surveying, as well as the processing of the acquired data in a variety of software tools. The point cloud is generated, based on which was made a 3D-model of a residential house.
The ultimate goal of this study is to determine whether the data, acquired in such a manner, is sufficient in quality and precision for the feasibility of establishing of 3D-building cadastre. Furthermore, the results of data acquired using unmanned aerial vehicles are compared with data from the land cadastre.
