Time-lapse photography is a unique technique of photography which is closely connected to video production, so it requires a good knowledge of both photography as well as video editing and production. The diploma thesis introduces basic principles of time-lapse photography, and covers all the details of both shooting and postproduction to make a successful time-lapse video. It includes a description of the photographic equipment, camera settings and selection of the appropriate shooting intervals. The final chapter describes postproduction process which includes photo and video editing and presents a resulting time-lapse video.
