This masters discusses stepping motors, integrated circuit DRV8825 and the production of a controller for controlling bipolar stepper motors.
The first part is a general description of the stepper motor, a description of bipolar and unipolar stepper motor and their comparison. It also describes the various ways of stepping.
In the second part of the masters we describe the integrated circuit DRV8825. It describes its features, usability, internal structure and purpose of pins. Because good working conditions are important for the functioning of the integrated circuit DRV8825, they are included in the task. It is explained how the integrated circuit DRV8825 regulates the current flowing in the motor winding. Listed and described are methods of current decay, which is provided by the integrated circuit DRV8825. Described are the methods of stepping and what kinds of protection are offered by the integrated circuit DRV8825.
Final part of the masters contains a description of the design of the controller, the program for the operation and measurements that show that the controller operates by manufacturers specifications.
