Abstract
Konvencija o otrokovih pravicah zajema pravice oseb, katere še niso dopolnile 18. leta starosti. V drugem delu sem pogledala zakone Republike Slovenije, kateri nudijo zaščito otrokom pred nedopustljivim ravnanjem odraslih oseb in splošne informacije o nasilju (oblike, izvor nasilja, posledice pri otroku …).

Title:Violence against children ali children´s rights
Abstract:
Convention of children' s rights includes the rights of people who are under age. Children are people, too, but they cannot take over all rights of adults because of their vulnerability which are given by Declaration of human rights: During history children are those who have been deprived of many rights and consecutively abused Just because of this appeared the need to accept the Convention of children' s rights. Today we are living in the 21st century but despite of this violence over children is still very present. Because of this I decided to examine the mentioned subject in details in my diploma work. My diploma work is completely theoretical. In Part 1 I focused on the view of children and childhood throughout the human history and the way to acceptance of Convention of children' s rights. In Part 2 I read the Bills of Republic of Slovenia which give protection to children against inadmissible handling of adults and general information about violence (forms, origin of violence, consequences on a child). As future educator I also got acquainted with suitable treatement of experts in kindergardens when violence over a childis perceived.
