Abstract
V diplomskem delu je predstavljena rešitev za avtomatsko regulacijo procesov v lakirno-sušilni komori. Ta mora zagotavljati čim bolj konstantne razmere, ki omogočajo boljšo kakovost površinskih nanosov na izdelke, prav tako pa prispeva k zmanjšanju porabe energentov in k izboljšanju delovnega okolja. Opisani so fizični elementi, potrebni za krmiljenje in regulacijo, programski del, ki vključuje algoritem za regulacijo temperature, nadtlaka v komori in pretoka zraka, ter uporabniški vmesnik. Opisana sta dvotočkovna regulacija in regulacija PID, ki sta v regulacijski proces implementirani in v nalogi primerjani. Krmilni program je napisan v programskem jeziku C# in teče na računalniku PC. Kot uporabniška vhodno/izhodna naprava je uporabljen zaslon na dotik. Za dan sistem se je dvotočkovna regulacija izkazala za pomanjkljivo, saj z njo ni bila zagotovljena stabilnost sistema. Regulacija PID je bila v testiranjih zmeraj zanesljiva, prav tako pa je z ustrezno nastavljenimi parametri dosegla dober odziv sistema na zahtevane spremembe delovanja in motnje.

Title:Automatic control of paint spray booth with integrated dryer
Abstract:
The thesis presents a solution for automatic control of a paint spray booth with integrated dryer. The conditions in the booth must be as constant as possible to assure better quality of surface coating applied on a particular object, while also lowering the consumption of energy sources and improving the working environment. The thesis includes descriptions of physical elements used for control and regulation, the software solution, which includes algorithms for the regulation of the temperature, overpressure in the booth and airflow, as well as the user interface. Also included is the description of on-off and PID closed-loop control systems, which were implemented and compared. The control program is written in C# and runs on a PC. A touch screen display is used as the user input output device. While the on-off regulation proved to be unstable in the given system, the PID regulator was very reliable during the testing period with satisfactory results.
