The master’s thesis deals with operational cadastre of water supply system and sewage system. It is led by manager of water supply system facilities and sewage system facilities. The first part of the thesis presents the structure of operational cadastre, structure of water and sewage utility survey report, and processing and maintenance of cadastral data. It is very important to make an accurate and precise survey about the position, height and other descriptive data, before the infrastructure is put in the ground and covered up. The focus of the master thesis is an implementation of operational cadastre in geographic information systems, which enables to process large amount of data and spatial analysis. Examples of use of the cadastre data are extensively and practically presented in the central part of the thesis. Furthermore, we performed network trace analysis on water and sewerage network. In the conclusion, we have created a 3D model of the water supply system and sewage system in the study
area.
