Abstract
Snemalni prostori morajo imeti primerno lokacijo, obliko, razmerje, velikost in primerno akustično obdelavo. Akustična obdelava je zahteven pojem, ker so potrebe različnih prostorov namenjenim snemanju zvoka zelo različne.

Title:Recording room acoustics
Abstract:
This thesis addresses the issue of acoustics of rooms, which are intended for recording and processing of captured audio signal. Based on the theoretical fundamentals of acoustics and the theory of acoustic fitting-out, a practical example of constructing, equipping and acoustic measuring of a recording studio is presented. Recording facilities must have a suitable location, shape, proportion, size and appropriate acoustical treatment. Acoustic treatment is a difficult concept, because the needs of various rooms intended for recording sound are very different. They differ depending on the type of captured audio (e.g. speech, classical music, rock music), location of premises (acoustic insulation), design, layout and volume. The example of the recording studio in the analysis was built on the basis of the theoretical fundamentals and has, with measurements, proved to be appropriately designed with regards to its intended use.

Keywords:room acoustics, recording studio, sound processing, acoustical measurements, measuring systems, reverberation, acoustic absorption, acoustic reflectivity, directing, sound stage.
