In the introduction of the thesis I present the railways electric network and the purpose of integrated electric network switches. The emphasis is on the installation of the electric network switch and the power supply of the electromechanical operated mechanism.
The next part of the thesis includes a detailed description of the functionality and operating procedures of electric network switch produced by Comecel. A problem of dealing with unreliable functionality of the electromechanical operated mechanism which appeared on the operation system for the fixed installations for electric tractions is presented. The analysis of the functionality of the electromechanical operating system reveals the manner of the unwanted switch manipulation.
In the conclusion of the thesis I presented two technical solutions for removing the problem of unwanted switch manipulation. In practice, I also corrected an error with installing an additional control contactor and modified the activation of the railways electric network switch drive control.
