Abstract
Diplomsko delo predstavlja postopke opravljanja meritev sevalnega diagrama anten na terenu. Izvajanje imenovanih meritev na terenu je pomembno, saj se šele takrat pokažejo različni vplivi na antenski sistem zaradi geografskih ovir in drugih vplivov. Meritve nam pomagajo pri razvoju novih antenskih sistemov in zagotavljanju kvalitetnega pokrivanja s temi sistemi. V prvem delu so opisani različni tradicionalni postopki, s katerimi se izvajajo meritve, prednosti in slabosti le-teh. Ker pa imajo nekateri postopki določene omejitve, fizične, varnostne in finančne, razvoj tehnologije pa nam iz dneva v dan ponuja nove rešitve problemov, nas zanima, če bi bilo mogoče opravljati meritve na terenu še, na kakšen drug način. Uporaba brezpilotnih letečih platform je danes zelo razvita in razširjena na nešteta področja. V diplomski nalogi ugotavljamo, ali bi bilo mogoče z uporabo teh opraviti naloge izvajanja meritev na terenu. V delu smo opisali teoretično zasnovo take merilne platforme, omejitve in probleme, s katerimi se srečamo ter kako se uspešno lotimo reševanja le-teh. Opisana je primerna merilna tehnika, antena in način merjenja s tako platformo. Podani so tudi napotki, na kaj moramo biti pozorni pri izvajanju meritev.

Title:Design of an outdoor antenna radiation pattern measurement system
Abstract:
This work describes tehniques of antenna pattern measuring of fixed antennas on site. Performing these measurements is very important, because only when antenna is fixed and operating we can get real pattern, because of effect of soil as a conductor and some other effects. With these measurements we can help with antenna system development and provising of quality antenna covering. In first part I described some tradicional antenna pattern measuring tehniques, advantages and disadvantages of it. Some of these tehniques have various restrictions, however new tehnologies are offering us better and easier solutions for solving these problems. We are asking ourselves if there are some other possibilities to perform antenna pattern measurements. Nowadays there are numerous possibilities of using UAVs (Unmanned aerial vehicle) for different purposes, I am reaserching if we could use them for measuring antenna patterns on site. In this work I described some problems and restrictions we are facing and some solutions for them. There is description of such as UAV, suitable equipment and measuring antenna.
