Abstract
V diplomskem delu so opisani sistemi v civilnem letalstvu za nadzor zračnega prometa in za preprečevanje nesreč med zračnimi plovili v zraku. Tematika je osredotočena predvsem na sistem za nadzor zračnega prometa ATC in na sistem za preprečevanje trkov (TCAS) na letalih. Sisteme sem opisoval na podlagi dosedanjega dela in izkušenj iz vzdrževanja letal. Pri opisovanju sem se nanašal na učno in tehnično literaturo, ki jo uporabljam pri vsakdanjem delu v podjetju Solinair d. o. o. Prav tako pa sem podal realne primere testiranja, odpravljanja napak in vzdrževanja na sistemih ATC in TCAS.

Title:Aircraft on-board systems for air traffic control and collision avoidance
Abstract:
This thesis describes on-board systems in civil aviation for air traffic control (ATC) and traffic and collision avoidance system (TCAS). Systems are described based on my working experience in aircraft maintenance. By describing the systems, training and technical documentation, which I am using on a daily basis in company Solinair d.o.o., is cited. Examples of testing, fault isolation and maintenance of ATC and TCAS systems are provided.
