Spremljanje kakovosti terminalov LTE

Diplomska naloga opisuje izbiro potrebnih meritev, ki glede na obseg in racionalno izbiro instrumentov zadovoljivo predstavijo pravilnost oziroma nepravilnost delovanja terminala LTE v okviru standardov in predpisov. V uvodu je na kratko predstavljen razlog, zakaj je smiselno izvajati meritve in testiranja na mobilnih napravah. V drugem poglavju so predstavljene institucije, ki skrbijo za standardizacijo v mobilnih omrežjih in potek standardizacije omrežja LTE. Tretje poglavje opisuje princip delovanja radijskega dostopa in arhitekturo omrežja LTE, v kateri so opisane posamezne omrežne entitete. Četrto poglavje je osrednje in najpomembnejše poglavje diplomskega dela. Poglavje obravnava postopke meritev in testiranj mobilnih naprav LTE. V petem poglavju so predstavljeni rezultati meritev in testiranj. To poglavje predstavlja tudi praktični del diplomskega dela. Zadnje poglavje predstavlja vsebinski zaključek diplomskega dela. Predstavljene so statistika testiranja in najbolj pogoste napake, ki se pojavijo pri spremljanju kakovosti terminalov. Zaključek poglavja pa nakazuje smernice nadaljnjih postopkov meritev in testiranj.

Abstract

The diploma thesis contains information about how to select the measurements that adequatly present whether or not the LTE mobile station is working correctly within the rational choice of the range and instruments and with respect to available standards and regulations. The introduction briefly describes the reasons for measurements and testings on mobile devices. The second chapter describes the institutions providing the standardization in mobile networks and the proceeding of the LTE network standardization. The third chapter provides a general principle of the LTE radio access and network architecture describing individual network entities. The fourth chapter is the main chapter and the most significant one. It discusses the processes of terminal measurements and testing. The fifth chapter represents the results of the previous chapter. This is also the practical part of the diploma thesis. The last chapter represents the substantive conclusion of the diploma thesis. It covers the statistics of terminal testing and most frequently reported errors that occur at terminal quality monitoring. The final part of the chapter indicates guidelines for future measurement and testing procedures.
