In this thesis we study the bridge weighing system for weighing vehicles in motion and its application in the elimination of overweight vehicles.
In the first part, we describe the weighing systems for weighing vehicles in motion, their strengths and weaknesses. We have also presented various requirements that need to be considered when determining the accuracy of such systems and solving problems overweight vehicles.
In the second part, we describe the basics of a bridge weighing system for weighing vehicles in motion and the dynamic effects on measurement objects, that must be taken into account.
In the third part, we present the basic structure of SiWIM system and some measurements, which results was shown, according to European specification COST323.
