The dissertation Production of radio content describes the process of radio activity from idea to the production of the technically flawless and aesthetically complete programme.
The first part provides a detailed description of the structure and operation of a radio station, presents the directives of modern-day radio listening, operation of Slovenian radio stations, a detailed chronological overview of the development of Radio Cerkno station, with practical examples of the operation of a radio station, which enable better understanding of the radio. Attached are also the results of the listenership, and what the listeners expect from the radio. We present the team of employees and their tasks at the station.
The main part describes the working environment of the creators of radio programme, the radio studio and the operation of the main equipment of the radio studio. We also present the process of programme content creation and the people is responsible for it, as well as the equipment being used. The production of radio content includes all content that is created in radio production.
The final part of the dissertation presents music production of radio stations. We present how it is done, the software being used and cooperation with foreign and national production houses providing the latest additions from the music world to the radio stations.
