Abstract
Piktogrami v knjižnici Osnovne šole dr. Vita Kraigherja so trenutno v uporabi od aprila 2013. S pomočjo petih fokusnih skupin, v katerih je sodelovalo 24 otrok, smo junija 2015 želeli preveriti, ali otroci piktograme prepoznajo in ali znajo našteti knjige, ki določen žanr predstavljajo. Skupinam smo predstavili tudi nove piktograme, ki še niso v uporabi in se jih bo uporabljalo v šolskem letu 2015/2016. Vprašali smo jih, kaj vidijo na sliki, kakšen žanr bi to predstavljalo in po predstavitvi piktograma, ali bi piktogram kako spremenili. Ugotovili smo, da so piktogrami, ki so že več let v knjižnici, dobro prepoznavni, tako med mlajšimi kot starejšimi uporabniki. Tudi novejše piktograme so dobro prepoznali, čeprav je bilo potrebno dva piktograma prilagoditi. Otroci so si ogledali šestnajst starejših piktogramov in sedem novih piktogramov. Fokusne skupine smo izvedli tekom meseca junija 2015, ko so otroci imeli več časa. Za fokusne skupine smo izbrali otroke, ki redno hodijo v knjižnico, so seznanjeni s postavitvijo knjižnice ter tiste, ki sodelujejo v knjižničarskem krožku. Mlajši so v novejših piktogramih bolje prepoznali žanre, saj so štirje izmed sedmih piktogramov namenjeni stopnji ciciban, medtem ko so starejši bolje prepoznavali starejše piktograme, ki so v knjižnici dlje časa. To je pričakovano, saj so starejši dlje časa obiskovali knjižnico, ravno tako dlje časa preživijo na oddelkih pionirjev in mladincev, kjer je največ starejših piktogramov.

Abstract:
Pictograms in the library of elementary school dr. Vito Kraigher are currently in use from April 2013. With the help of five focus groups involving 24 children, in June 2015 we wanted to check whether children identify pictograms and whether they can set out books that represent a particular genre. To groups we also introduced the new pictograms, which are not yet in use, and will be used in the school year 2015/2016. We asked them what they see in the picture, what genre would represent and after hearing what the pictogram mean, how to change it. We have found that the pictograms that are already in use two years in the library, are well recognizable, especially among older users. Even newer pictograms are well recognized, although it was necessary to adjust the two pictogram. Children have previewed sixteen older pictograms and seven new pictograms. Focus groups were conducted during the month of June 2015, when children have more time. For the focus groups we selected children who regularly visit the library, they who are familiar with a library and those involved in the club library. The younger were better at recognizing new pictograms, since four of the seven pictograms were designed for them, while older were better at recognizing older pictograms that are in the library longer. This was expected, because older children spend more time in a library especially on the departments where the pictograms were being most used, pionirji and mladinci.
