Z vse večjo uporabo pametnih števcev, katerih osnovni namen je poleg merjenja električne energije prav avtomatsko branje, raste tudi potreba po vse bolj zmogljivih komunikacijah. Ena od teh komunikacij je Euridis, ki jo je uvedla EDF. Predstavljeni so digitalni FIR filtri, ki so zelo uporabni zaradi nizke cene izvedbe. Tak filter je uporabljen tudi v izdelanem modemu. Opisan je Euridis standard, predstavljene pa so tudi podrobnosti, ki morajo ustrezati standardu IEC 62 056-31. Magistrska naloga obsega izdelavo modema, ki bo ustrezal standardu IEC 62 056-31. Izdelan modem je namenjen za razvojne in proizvodne potrebe v podjetju Iskraemeco.

Abstract

Increasing the use of electronic smart meters requires a good and reliable protocol. One of such protocols is Euridis, provided by EDF. This work contains theoretical background of digital FIR filters. That kind of filter is also implemented in the following communication modem. Low cost for implementation is the major advantage since processor power is increasing. Euridis communication protocol is also introduced in all of its details. All Euridis communication devices have to comply with IEC 62 056-31. This work contains the development of Euridis modem, which will be used in research and development and also production process inside of the company Iskraemeco.
