Integrating Information and Communication Technology in home economics lessons enables high-quality teaching and, together with technological advances, allows for innovative teaching approaches. The results of empirical research conducted among 44 pupils attending the 6th grade of primary school and aged 11.2 years on average showed a positive effect of using the web quiz in home economics lessons. The results also indicated that the pupils who solved the web quiz and thus repeated what they had learned solved more tasks correctly. They also managed to remember more of what they had learned. In addition, the introduction of the quiz in lessons had a positive impact on the pupils' motivation for work.
