Dinamika zaraščanja planinskih pašnikov na Belski planini in Rebru z objektno usmerjeno analizo ortofotoposnetkov

Abstract
Planinski pašniki so del kmetijske rabe prostora v alpskem svetu, ki se pogosto zaraščajo. S primerjavo kart rabe tal smo ugotovili dinamiko zaraščanja pašnikov in drugih prostorskih procesov na Belski planini in pašniku Rebru. Digitalni ortofotoposnetki iz let 1995 in 2006 so bili v okolju GIS analizirani s postopkom objektne klasifikacije. Z uporabljeno metodologijo je mogoče brez dolgotrajnega vizualnega razmejevanja rabe tal zanesljivo določiti spremembe na ravni najmanjših površin, to je posameznih grmov ali skupin dreves.

Title:Dynamics of alpine pastures overgrowth in Belska planina and Reber using object-based analysis of orthophoto images
Abstract:
Alpine pastures are a part of the agricultural use of land in the Alpine region but they are becoming overgrown. By comparing land use maps the dynamics of pasture overgrowth and other spatial processes in Belska Planina and Reber pasture were established. Digital ortophotos from the years 1995 and 2006 were analyzed by feature extraction with GIS tools. Changes at the level of the smallest surfaces, i.e. individual shrubs or cluster of trees, can be reliably identified with the methodology used without long-lasting visual land use delineation.
