Abstract
Cilj diplomskega dela je izdelava odprtokodnega sistema, ki lahko za nizko ceno in majhno porabo energije omogoča pregled trenutno merljivih fizikalnih količin (temperatura, vlaga). Diplomska naloga v celoti predstavlja celovito osnovno rešitev zadanega problema od osnovnih gradnikov do prikaza pridobljenih informaciji, ki jih upodobimo na uporabniku prijazen način. Predstavljen je zgolj osnovni koncept delovanja IoT. Prejeti podatki so vidni znotraj lokalne spletne strani, kjer so poleg informacij še priljubljene spletne strani uporabnika. Zaradi delovanja v lokalni mreži in potrebi po čim manjši porabi električne energije, se za strežnik uporablja Raspberry Pi. Merilno vozlišče je sestavljeno iz Arduino mikrokontrolerja, ki s pomočjo senzorjev pošilja podatke preko HTTP GET protokola na strežnik. Na oddaljenem računalniku je vidna spletna stran, ki prikazuje prejete podatke. V teoretičnem delu je opisana postavitev, tehnične specifikacije in delovanje uporabljenih komponent. V drugem delu je opisan način komunikacije med samim merilnim vozliščem in zbiralnikom informacij. V zaključku je programski del, ki služi za prikaz teh informacij uporabniku.

Title:Node and server for Internet of things
Abstract:
The aim of the thesis is to create an opensource system, which would enable an overview of currently measurable physical quantities (temperature, humidity). The system would be able to do this with low costs and a low energy consumption. The thesis presents a comprehensive basic solution of the problem in question from components up to the demonstration of the acquired information. The latter is presented in a user-friendly way. The basic performance concept of the IoT is presented. Besides the received information that is visible within the local web site, we can also see the favourite web sites of a particular user. The Raspberry Pi is used as a server due to the fact that the system operates in the local network and that it requires a low energy consumption. The measurement node is made from an Arduino microcontroller. It sends information via HTTP GET protocol to a server by using sensors. The web site displaying received information is visible on a remote computer. The layout, technical specifications, and the performance of the components used are represented in the theoretical part of the thesis. The form of communication between the measurement node and the information aggregator is described in the second part. The conclusion presents the program part, which serves as a demonstration of the information in question to the user.
