Abstract
V diplomski nalogi je podan podroben opis zgradbe in delovanje hibridnega ojačevalnika, ki sestoji iz linearne in stikalne stopnje. Kombinacija obeh omogoča doseganje višjega izkoristka, kot bi ga dosegli le z linearno stopnjo, saj slednjo tokovno razbremeni stikalna stopnja. Tok, ki se zaključuje skozi linearno stopnjo, pa je nasprotno enak tokovni valovitosti stikalne stopnje – linearni ojačevalnik deluje torej kot kompenzator višjeharmonskih komponent povzročenih s stikalnim delom ojačevalnega vezja. S ciljem učinkovite pretvorbe je vezju dodan PWM pretvornik, ki omogoča, da izhodna napetost doseže poljubno vrednost v celotnem razponu napajalne napetosti.

Title:Hybrid power amplifier
Abstract:
The thesis gives a detailed description of the construction and operation of a hybrid amplifier consisting of linear and switching part. The combination of both allows achieving higher efficiency that would be achieved only with linear part, since the switching part takes over majority of the load current. The current terminating through a linear part is an opposite to the current ripple of switching part - the linear amplifier thus acts as a compensator for harmonic components caused by switching part of the amplifier circuit. For the purpose of efficient conversion a PWM inverter has been added to the amplifier, which allows the output voltage to reach an arbitrary value in the range of the supply voltage.
