The thesis is initially defined group of physically impaired persons and described the built
environment in the micro and macro scale. Along with the issue of safe routes presents accessibility in
the built environment for physically impaired people. Scope of safe routes, which is a basis for
presenting topics on the web map contains 3 example of safe routes between two public institutions
(Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geodesy and Cankarjev dom) with field descriptions and
assessments of safety. The next step is the design database with an object catalog, which contains
facilities for physically impaired persons (objects to help mobility, barriers and public buildings). The
practical part describes the making of web map with definition of the content redaction plan and
technology of making map to the final exportation in web format.
