For position determination in the GNSS land surveying we simultaneously use the systems
GLONASS and GPS for quite some time. In this thesis we present the GNSS systems GPS and
GLONASS, the similarities and differences of the two systems, and their characterics on position
determination. Within the practical part of the work is presented the measurement process, the
processing of observations and the analysis of quality of the coordinates, determined on the basis
of the GPS observations, GLONASS observations and common usage of GPS and GLONASS
observations.
