The Diploma Thesis is focused on modern art work of Mr. Vladimir Leben. After establishing the baseline data and provenance, what follows is a formal analysis of the image by determining the materials, analysis of design physicality, space, composition, colour and light. Next is an upgrade of iconographic analysis, where we establish the meaning of separate elements of the image and the mutual connection among them. Then we fit the painting into the period of space and time of its creation with iconological analysis and link it to the circumstances that could have influenced the creation of the image. After completing the interpretation of the painting we can focus on the relationship between man and animal. With cross curricular cooperation we could develop an appropriate attitude of children towards animals by including modern artwork in mandatory curriculum in primary schools. In this context a method Ways In has been presented, which helps us provide a more thorough and high-quality interpretation of the artwork. We then use the method, set a series of questions and develop a discussion for the interpretation of the painting of Mr. Vladimir Leben.
