Paper deals with the identification of information needs and information-seeking habits of Velenje music school library users. Continuous expansion of the World Wide Web - and increase of its access - which offers a great amount of musical information, has a great influence on search habits of library users. The first part of the survey, conducted among the representatives of the most frequent user types of Velenje Music School library - high school students and teachers - confirmed the domination of web information search by mentioned users. Previously we have discovered that with few exceptions Slovenian music schools websites don't offer quality music weblinks to their users and that Slovenian music school libraries are not a factor of providing information through mentioned weblinks. Later a previously composed list of weblinks to selected musical websites with free acces, was introduced to survey participants. Their response was positive, and subsequently musical weblinks list was published on Velenje Music School library's website. According to the fact that in the second part of the survey participants showed high opinion on the introduced weblinks list, we stated that introduction of such weblinks list could be appropriate possibility for introducing allready existing free music contents to all music schools libraries users.
