Abstract
Knjižnice so odgovorne, da nudijo tudi osebam z disleksijo enakopraven dostop do informacij. Ker imajo osebe z disleksijo težave na bralno - napisovalnem področju, nas je zanimalo, kakšna je signalizacija v splošni knjižnici in kakšna naj bi bila, da bi bila primerna tudi za osebe z disleksijo. V Knjižnici Šiška je bila z ekspertno študijo na osnovi priporočil in smernic za osebe z disleksijo preverjena funkcionalnost notranje grafične označitve. Celotna signalizacija v Knjižnici Šiška je dosegla 65,71 %-no ustreznost ali oceno dobro (3). Rezultati ekspertne študije so bili preverjeni z uporabniško študijo, v kateri je sodelovalo sedem dijakov, ki so osebe z disleksijo, s težavami na vizualnem področju. S polstrukturiranim intervjujem z opazovanjem je bilo preverjeno, kako osebe z disleksijo v Knjižnici Šiška vrednotijo signalizacijo, kako se z njo orientirajo in kako si pomagajo pri iskanju želenega gradiva. V ekspertni študiji so piktogrami dosegli vse možne točke. Vuporabniški študiji je bil med malimi in velikimi piktogrami najbolje ocenjen črn piktogram na beli podlagi. Smernice si nasprotujejo glede primernosti serifnih in neserifnih pisav za te uporabnike. Ni bilo ugotovljeno, katera tipografija jim bolj ustreza. Celotno signalizacijo v Knjižnici Šiška so udeleženci uporabniške študije ocenili z visokimi ocenami. Štirje so jo ocenili odlično (5), trije pa prav dobro (4). Signalizacija je dosegla povprečno oceno 4,57. Ugotovljeno je bilo, da je signalizacija v Knjižnici Šiška primerna za osebe z disleksijo in druge uporabnike brez te motnje, kljub oceni dobro (3) v ekspertni študiji.

Title:
Signalling adjustment in public library for dyslexic persons
Abstract:
Libraries are responsible to offer equal access to information even to dyslexic persons. As such persons have difficulties in reading and writing skills, we were interested in what kind of signalling is used in a public library and what kind of signalling should be used to suit the dyslexic persons. An expert study was performed in the Šiška library on the basis of recommendations and guidelines for dyslexic persons and the funcionality of the graphic identification was also assessed. The entire signalling system in the Šiška library reached 65,71 % of suitability or a good mark (3). The results of the expert study were verified with the user study where seven dyslexic school-boys and girls with sight difficulties participated. It was checked by a semistructured interview and observation how these people assess the signalling system in the public library Šiška, how this system is useful for them in search of the wanted items. In the expert study all the pictograms reached the best possible points. In the user study the best choice was the combination of the black pictogram on the white basis among small and big pictograms. Guidelines are contradictory on the use of serif and sans-serif fonts for dyslexic users. It was not found which typeface suits them better. The user study participants in the Šiška library assessed the signalling system with high marks. Four of them assessed it as excellent (5), three as very good (4). The average assessement mark was 4,57. It was established that the signalling system in the Šiška library is suitable for dyslexic persons and other users without any disorders regardless of the mark good (3) in the expert study.
