Abstract
Oblikovanje nabavne politike v osnovnošolski knjižnici vključuje različne elemente; od poslanstva in ciljev šole, potreb, pričakovanj, zahtev strokovnih delavcev, učencev in drugih uporabnikov, do zakonskih predpisov in strokovnih smernic. V kolikšni meri se osnovnošolski knjižničarji pri oblikovanju nabavne politike in izgradnji knjižnične zbirke opirajo na različne dokumente, vključno s smernicami za osnovnošolske knjižnice, ter kakšen je prirast gradiva, iz katerih virov se financira, kolikšna je njihova višina in kakšna je vloga dokumenta o nabavni politiki, prikazuje raziskava, izvedena s pomočjo ankete med 115 slovenskimi osnovnošolskimi knjižničarji. Rezultati so pokazali, da nabavna politika v naših osnovnošolskih knjižnicah ni dorečena zaradi sistemske neurejenosti tega področja. Financiranje gradiva pa je odvisno predvsem od odločitve vodstva šole. Posodob-ljena knjižnična zbirka je tesno povezana z razvojem pismenosti in vzgojo mladega bralca, kot tudi za oskrbo z informacijami ter ekonomskim, socialnim in kulturnim razvojem.

Title:Creating of collection development policy in primary school library
Abstract:
The creation of collection development policy in a primary school library includes many different elements, which are: mission and goals of the school, needs, expectations, claims of the profes-sional workers, pupils and other users, legislation regulations and instructions. The thesis shows how primary school librarians create their collection development policy by using different documents, including guidelines for primary school libraries and document of collection building pol-icy, quantity of resources available for the creation of the collection in accordance with norms and the success in achieving professional standards. The research amongst 115 primary school librarians presents system weakness and variables of acquisition in primary schools libraries. Acquisition policy in school libraries and especially financial foundations are influenced by headmasters' decisions. Collections have to be developed on an ongoing basis to ensure the users a possibility for literacy building, reading, information and economic, social and cultural development.
