Analiza stanja parkovne drevnine v mestnem parku Pratogiardino v Viterbu, Italija : diplomsko delo - univerzitetni študij

Parkovna in ulična drevesa imajo dandanes pomembno vlogo za kakovost življenjav mestih. Pomembna pa je tudi skrb za ta drevesa, saj le pravilno negovana drevesa lahko dosežejo visoko starost in so ob tem tudi varna za okolico. Cilj naloge je bil popis in ocena zdravstvenega stanja dreves, ki rastejo v mestnem parku Pratogiardino v Viterbu, Italija in primerjava rezultatov z rezultati podobne raziskovalne naloge, ki je bila opravljena v Sloveniji (Šuligoj, 2009). V parku je v času raziskave raslo skupaj 354 dreves, od tega 302 listavca in 52 iglavcev, skupaj 21 različnih drevesnih vrst. Drevesom so določili vrsto in lokacijo vrisali v načrt parka. Po VTA metodi so drevesom ocenili zdravstveno stanje korenin, koreničnika, debla in krošnje ter dodali splošno oceno zdravstvenega stanja. Poškodovanih je bilo 65% vseh dreves, zelo poškodovanih jih je bilo 24 %. V dobrem zdravstvenem stanju je bilo 88 % mladih dreves, kar daje dobre obete za prihodnost.

Abstract

Park and street trees have nowadays very important role for quality of life incities. Maintenance and care is very important for trees to reach adult stage and also stay healthy and safe. The aim of this thesis was to make an inventory of tree damages and evaluation of health condition of the trees in Viterbo's park Pratogiardino in Italy. The result were compared to similar research already made in Slovenia (Šuligoj, 2009). During the research there were 354 trees growing, 302 deciduous and 52 conifers, 21 different tree species. Tree's species were determined and its location was put on the map of the park. Evaluation of the condition of the roots, base, trunk, ecrown and general health status was made using VTA method. 65 % of trees were damaged, 24 % were severely damaged. 88 % of young trees were in good health condition and that is very good prospect for the future.
