My undergraduate thesis deals with the trees inside Križanke Park in Ljubljana, which are located on the west and south side of the Križanke summertheater wall. 22 trees of different kind and age grew in the park. A path leads through the park and there are benches and a playground on both sides. The purpose of the thesis was to make an arboricultural analysis of allthe trees, to determine the necessary measures to improve their condition and to carry out these measures. The goal of the assignment was, to make the park safer and at the same time to introduce and implement modern arboricultural methods. I originated from hypotheses which state, that the trees in the park were not being properly taken care of and that necessary steps needed to be taken since some trees were hazardous for the park visitorsor were causing damage to the nearby infrastructure and that after treecare will be done, trees will be much safer.
