The article presents the results of noise measurements in two working places carried out during two days at wood skidding by means of two URUS III cable crane on a TAM trnek. The noise during idle motion did not exceed NR 70 but during load drive it exceeded NR 90. The noise loads of an operator (Lekv) were between 82 and 90 dB(A) during the entire working time, the lowest with a cabin tightly closed and the highest with a cabin insufficiently closed. They mostly exceeded the still permitted limits of 85 dB(A) yet if compared with the limits permitted far the noise with interruptions, operators were exposed to noise harmful to hearing only with an insufficiently closed cabin and not with an open one.
