My thesis entitled The Use of Picture Book in the First Age Group of Kindergarten consists of the theoretical and empirical parts.
The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the preschool child’s speech development and the factors influencing it, the types of reading used by both childcare workers and parents, and a picture book.
The empirical part of the thesis includes the analysis of how children of different ages narrate a story. The results show that the stories narrated by children differ depending on their age.
