Abstract
V magistrski nalogi analiziramo dejavnike, ki bi dvignili raven kakovosti življenja v družini, ter kritično ovrednotimo mnenja različnih avtorjev, ki o tej temi pišejo v strokovni literaturi. Hkrati ugotavljamo tudi razloge, zaradi katerih podjetja in ustanove ustanavljajo svoje vrtce. Analizirani dejavniki so naslednji: pomoč zaposlenim pri usklajevanju delovnih in zasebnih obveznosti v družini oziroma partnerskih zvezah, prihranek časa za skupno družinsko življenje, večja čustvena povezanost med starši in otroki v primeru varstva otroka znotraj podjetja, dvig ugleda podjetja ob ustanovitvi vrtca ipd. Vsi ti dejavniki lahko ključno vplivajo na ustanavljanje in uspešnost vrtcev v podjetjih. V empiričnem delu preverjamo mnenja, komentarje in odgovore na vprašanja, če bi starši lahko vpisali otroka v vrtec pri podjetju ali ustanovi, v kateri so zaposleni. Za raziskovanje smo uporabili kvantitativni raziskovalni pristop, v okviru katerega smo skušali z anketnim vprašalnikom ugotoviti poglede staršev predšolskih otrok na ustanovitev vrtca v podjetju. Na proučevanem vzorcu (N=104) smo ugotovili, da ženske na splošno vidijo več prednosti v ustanovitvi vrtca v podjetju kot moški anketiranci. Anketiranci, ki so se opredelili na vodstvenem položaju, pa dojemajo več prednosti ustanovitve vrtca v podjetju kot tisti, ki so na nevodstvenem položaju. V celoti smo iz odgovorov anketirancev lahko zasledili, da ima po njihovem mnenju podjetje majhno namero za ustanovitev lastnega vrtca. Med dejavniki, ki vplivajo na to, da bi podjetje ustanovilo vrtec, pa starši omenjajo predvsem več možnosti za učenje in razvoj otrok ter predvsem odločitev staršev, da si tega želijo. Iz rezultatov smo na koncu lahko razbrali, da bi bila več kot polovica staršev (60 %) pripravljena za vrtec v podjetju plačati toliko, kot trenutno plačujejo v javnem ali zasebnem varstvu. Rezultati so odraz mnenja staršev v podjetju BSH (Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances Group, 2014).

Title:
Reasons for opening an onsite day care and its success factors
Abstract:
The purpose of this master thesis is to evaluate different authors’ opinion and to analyze and identify the factors that would help improve family’s living standards. Reasons for which a company would open onsite daycare center are looked for. This evolves factors such as: work-life balance, more free time for family, a higher degree of emotional connection between parents and children in case of private child care within the company, a better public reputation for companies etc. These factors can all have a significant influence on a decision to open a successful onsite daycare center. The empirical part of the thesis investigates parent’s opinions, comments and answers to questions related to intent to enroll their children in their employer’s onsite daycare center. We conducted a survey using a questionnaire to quantitatively investigate the opinion of parents with preschool children related to opening an onsite daycare center. The survey results show that women in general see more advantages in opening an onsite daycare canter in comparison to men. Furthermore, employees in management positions, in comparison to other employees, see more forthcomings in an onsite daycare centers. But in general they all think that the company they work for has little interest in opening such center. The parents that support onsite daycare centers see more potential for children to learn and develop. 60 % of the people who completed the questionnaire are willing to pay the same amount of money for childcare as they pay in a public or private daycare centers. The results reflect the BSH company employees' opinion (Bosch and Siemens Home Appliences Group, 2014).
