Abstract
Diplomsko delo je namenjeno bodočim študentom, ki se odločajo za poklic učitelja Tehnike v osnovni šoli. Z delom želimo prikazati in študentom približati zaželeni profil učitelja tehnike za ta profil neobhodne kompetence. Na Pedagoško fakulteto želimo v ta namen pritegniti dijake, ki jih tehnika zanima že daljši čas in so po možnosti za tehniko bodisi nadarjeni, talentirani bodisi visoko motivirani. Merskega inštrumenta, kateri bi ugotavljal stopnjo primernosti bodočih študentov za poklic učitelja tehnike v Sloveniji še ni, če že obstajajo ocenjevalne lestvice, ki identificirajo tehniško nadarjene učence, so le te – pomanjkljive. Poraja se vprašanje, kako potemtakem ugotoviti in odkriti učence, ki bodo potencialni kandidati za učitelja? V ta namen smo nanizali potrebne in zaželene kompetence učitelja tehnike, nato pa predlagali merski inštrument, ki ugotavlja stopnjo primernosti bodočih študentov za poklic učitelja tehnike, kateri se bo lahko izvajal bodisi na informativnem dnevu bodisi v vsakdanje namene. Merski inštrument je priloga k delu in je strokovno pojasnjen in utemeljen.

Title:Pre–service technology teacher enrollment suitability level determination measuring instrument
Abstract:
Thesis targeted for pree-service students of design and technology teacher Education programme at the Faculty of Education. Our aim is to offer students the ideal profile and required competencies for the design and techology teacher profile. We aim at those future students that are interested in the professiona fiel for a longer period and who are either technologically gifted, talented or highly motivated in technology. A measuring instrument for determination of the level of adequacy of the future students of design and technology education programme doesn’t exist yet in Slovenia, and though there are grade scales for identifying talented students, they are incomplete. We define the acquired and preferred teacher competencies for the future students, and propose a measuring instrument examining the level of adequacy for design and technology students that can be used at the faculty or for the general use. Its content is explained and justified by an testing example.
