Nadgradnja sporočilnega sistema na fakultetnih informacijskih sistemih : diplomsko delo

V diplomski nalogi podajam rešitev nadgradnje poštnih strežnikov nekaterih članic omrežja Univerze v Ljubljani. Prehod smo izvedli iz starega sporočilnega sistema Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 na Microsoft Exchange Server 2010. Poleg nadgradnje sporočilnih sistemov smo nadgradili tudi strežnike - nosilce aktivnega imenika na različico Windows Server 2008 R2. V prvem delu poleg splošnega pregleda strežnika Exchange in odjemalca Outlook opišemo še del omrežja Univerze ter podamo glavne lastnosti strežnika Exchange 2010. V drugem delu naloge opišemo celotni namestitvi in konfiguraciji strežnika Microsoft Exchange 2010 ter konfiguraciji Windows Server 2008 v vseh korakih, ki so potrebni za delovanje osnovne Exchange 2010 poštne infrastrukture.

• Title: Upgrading messaging system on faculty systems

Abstract

The graduation thesis provides a solution for the transition a part of mail servers of University of Ljubljana. The transition was carried out from the Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 to Microsoft Exchange Server 2010. Next to upgrade of messaging system, the upgrade of the Active Directory carriers has been needed. For this purpose the upgrade to Windows Server 2008 R2 has been performed. In the first part of the work, the overview of the process of the MS Exchange server and Outlook client development during the time as well as some properties of the MS Exchange Server 2010 are given. A part of the University of Ljubljana's network is described also. In the second part of the graduation thesis a complete installation and configuration of Exchange Server 2010 and configuration of Windows Server 2008 are given in all steps, which are necessary for the basic functioning of Exchange 2010 mail infrastructure.
