The utilization of wood for heating in individual communities of SR Slovenia depends on socio-economic factors (e.g. national income per inhabitant, the size of urbane population), and factors concerning nature and forests ( e.g. growing stock of deciduous trees per house). The utilization of wood for heating also depends on the climate, the vegetation and local energy resources in individual community (e.g. coal, lignite). The quantity, used to evaluate the utilization of wood for heating on various levels, differs.
