Abstract

Title:
Pick's theorem
Abstract:
The main focus of the graduation thesis is the application of Pick's theorem to any simple lattice polygon. Pick's Theorem has also been proven for simple lattice polygons with any number of non-contacting holes inside the polygon. Added to the graduation thesis is an empirical section where the introduction of Pick's Theorem into primary school is discussed. A possible lesson plan is presented, together with the findings, which were made in the process.
