Abstract
Po kratkem pregledu športa za ljudi s posebnimi potrebami, gibanja Specialne olimpijade, rehabilitacijskih programov znotraj lokalnih društev in fizioterapevtskih obravnav, se diplomsko delo nadaljuje v empirični del. Ta je namenjen raziskovanju s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika. Podatke smo zbrali leta 2011 v telefonskih pogovorih s predsedniki lokalnih društev Sožitje. Vzorec anketirancev je predstavljalo vseh 51 lokalnih društev Sožitje, ki delujejo po celotni Sloveniji. Zastavili smo si 10 hipotez. Osnovni namen raziskave je bil ugotoviti, kdo je izvajalec rehabilitacijskih programov in katere oblike športnih dejavnosti so najpogosteje organizirali v sklopu njega. Ugotovili smo, da so v letu 2010 najpogosteje abilitacijske programe izvajali prostovoljci (36,8 %), najpogostejša dejavnost pa je bila plavanje (37 %). Iz rezultatov je bilo razvidno, da se rehabilitacijskih programov udeležujejo vedno isti člani, ti pa v večjem odstotku živijo doma s starši (93,5 %). Udeležba na rehabilitacijskih programih po Sloveniji raste, kar je vidno iz raziskave. Anketni vprašalniki so pokazali, da so tekmovalci, ki se udeležujejo Specialne olimpijade starejši od svetovnega povprečja in da je večina tekmovalcev moškega spola (52,5 %). Ugotovili smo še, da se znotraj društev v povprečju udeleži manj kot 58 % posameznikov Specialne olimpijade, po športnih disciplinah pa je najmočneje zastopana na tekmovanjih atletika. V zadnjem delu ankete se je vprašanje navezovalo na fizioterapevtske obravnave. Vodje društev so odgovorile, da se v povprečju manj kot 1,61 % posameznikov vseh oseb z motnjami v duševnem razvoju, ki so člani društva, še vedno udeležuje rednih fizioterapevtskih obravnav.

Title:Special olympics and rehabilitation programmes in the year 2010 in the local societies Sožitje
Abstract:
I tried to review the possible sports for disabled and people with special needs, Special Olympics, sports activities rehabilitation programs and physiotherapy treatment in the introduction. Empirical part of diploma is intended for research with a questionnaire. The data of the empirical study were gathered in year 2011 during the telephone conversations with the leaders of the local societies »Sožitje«. The sample of respondents represented all 51 local societies Sožitje operating throughout Slovenia. Ten hypotheses have been set. The main purpuse of this research was to determine who is the operator of rehabilitation programs and what types of sport activities are often organized as part of it. We found out that in 2010, most rehabilitation programs implemented volunteers (36,8 %), most activity was swimming (37 %). The results of questionaires showed us that the same member always participate in rehabilitation programs. Most of which still live with their parents (93,5 %). Participation in rehabilitation programs in Slovenia is growing, as evident from the survey. The questionnaire showed that the majority of the athletes who participate in Special Olympics are male (52,5 %). We also found out that less than 58 % of Sožitje members participate in Special Olympics. Most strongly is represented athletics competitions. The questions of the last part of survey were refering to a physical therapy treatment. We found out that within sport In general less than 1, 61 % people with intellectual disabilities are still attending regular physiotherapy sessions said the leaders of local Sožitje societies.
