Informacijska tehnologija: od nove tehnologije do nove družbe

The paper discusses the relationship between radical (possible and/or actual) changes in social relations, and the validity of old and the development of new paradigms in social sciences induced by the development of information technology. The question is answered whether the end of industrial society denotes also the end of Marxism which was born in the revolutionary transformation of feudal (pre-industrial) intocapitalist (industrial) society. Discussed is also the thesis that the information sector is the main and autonomous driving force of progress
