Market of Servus (trade label, owned by Novoles Company from Straža) tea trolleys was analysed, and newly re-devised board for tea trolleys researched. We found out the most important markets: England, Denmark, Norway, accepting novelties slowly. According to the results, a new model of beech working boards for tea trolleys was developed, and lab tests in extreme climate conditions (dry and wet climate) researching stability dimensions of separate boards carried out. We developed 2 different assemblies of boards, longitudinal-diagonal (C) and longitudinal-frontal (D) assembly. Beside newly developed boards we still had 2 tested boards, frontal (A) and longitudinal (B) assembly. At each assembly we tested 4 samples. We found out that existing boards were dimensionally stable and appropriate to be built in tea trolleys, but newly developed ones dimensionally unsteady. Individual lamellas in samples were too much dimensionally deviated to each other, and therefore not proper for tea trolleys. Dimensional stability could be reached by heat treatments of boards. According to findings of both researches, 2 new assemblies of working boards were presented and new tea trolleys developed for English, Irish, Danish and Norwegian markets.
