Gozd in obvodna drevnina v obrežnem pasu spodnjega toka Kokre

Gozd in obvodna drevnina sta pomembni sestavini krajine vzdolž vodotokov. V raziskavi smo ovrednotili razmestitev gozdov in obvodne drevnine v izbranem predelu ob reki Kokri od Preddvora do Kranja. Opisali smo vrste gozdov in dreves, funkcije gozdov in značilnosti sedanjega gospodarjenja, novejše spremembe rabe tal in pritiske na obvodni prostor. Ugotovili smo, da sta gozd in drevnina v prostoru še dovolj dobro zastopana, da pa bi bilo treba obema nameniti več nege in skrbi.

• Title: Forest and riparian trees in the waterfront of the lower river flow of Kokra

Abstract

Forest and riparian trees are important ingredients of the landscape along watercourses. In our study we evaluated the arrangement of forests and riparian trees in the selected area along Kokra River from Preddvor to Kranj. We described forest types and tree species, forest functions and characteristics of the present management, recent changes of land use and pressures to the riparian space. We found out that the forest and riparian trees are sufficiently represented in this space, but they both need more tending and care.
