Abstract
Padec komunističnih vladavin je pomenil relativno naglo spremembo družbenega okolja. Družbeni akterji so (bili) izpostavljeni različnim zahtevam po prilagajanju. V članku raziskujem sociološko uporabnost v osnovi biološkega oz. zoološkega pojma mimikrija za pojasnjevanje obnašanja posameznikov, skupin in institucij v zvezi z religijo v pogojih družbene tranzicije. Človeška oz. socialna mimikrija se kaže kot ena osnovnih vedenjskih strategij spreminjajočega se odnosa do religije v postkomunističnih deželah. Mimikrija je tudi ena izmed osnovnih vedenjskih strategij rimskokatoliške cerkve.

Abstract:
The fall of communist regimes has entailed a relatively rapid change in society. Social actors became exposed to various demands for their adaptation.The article investigates applicability of biological - or in other words zoological - concept of mimicry for a sociological explanation of the behaviour of individuals, groups and institutions. In the changing attitude towards religion in post-communist countries, a human, that is to say social, mimicry seems to be a basic behavioural strategy. It is also likely to be one of the basic behavioural strategies of Churches in the changed social environment.
