Abstract
V prispevku obravnavamo kakovost, vrednostne značilnosti in produkcijsko sposobnost sestojev doba in gradna v Sloveniji.

Title:Quality, value characteristics and productivity of Pedunculate and Sessile oak stands in Slovenia
Abstract:
This paper analyses the quality, value characteristics and productivity of Pedunculate and Sessile oak stands in Slovenia. Analysis showed rather high frequency of stem defects; nevertheless oak trees and stands achieve considerable values. Pedunculate oak has more favorable assortment structure in comparison with Sessile oak. Different timber prices and harvesting costs scenarios have weak influence on optimal production periods length. Pedunculate oak shows wider range in site productivity than Sessile oak. In general, the within-site differences in productivities are not big.
