The diploma thesis contains presentation of a Bluetooth technology. A complete functioning of the protocol from device inquiry and connection establishment to transmission of different data is described.
The second part of the thesis presents testing of Bluetooth connection between two devices. Hardware equipment on one end consisted of PIC24 microcontroller and Bluetooth module RN-41 from Roving Networks. On the other end a computer with a USB Bluetooth module was used.
Two different programs were created, one for controlling the microcontroller with software package MPLAB, second one for connecting and sending data from computer with Visual studio.
