Abstract
Ozaveščenost ljudi o klimatskih spremembah in omejenih zalogah nafte prispeva k vse večji izrabi biomase. Biomaso predstavljajo olesenele in neolesenele rastline. Le-te porabljajo pri rasti CO2, ki se pri gorenju ali gnitju vrača nazaj v okolje. Na ta način ni presežka CO2 in posledično negativnega vpliva na podnebje. Različne tehnike pridelave, predelave in uporabe biomase nudijo končnemu uporabniku komfortno energetsko oskrbo. Modernizacija naprav za izrabo biomase omogoča visoke izkoristke. Velik preskok v kakovosti izrabe biomase predstavlja prehod z naprav z naravnim vlekom zraka na naprave s prisilnim. Na ta način dovedemo v kurišče zadostno količino O2, kar omogoča visoko stopnjo izrabe akumulirane energije kuriva in malo okolju škodljivih snovi. Sistemi daljinskega ogrevanja so dober primer izrabe biomase na področjih, ki so bogata z lesno biomaso. Sistem obsega kurilno enoto in vročevod, po katerem se dovaja energija do posameznih enot. Znotraj teh so nameščeni prenosniki toplote, ki ločujejo individualni in daljinski ogrevalni sistem. Izračun, da bi v Sloveniji z izrabo enoletnega prirastka lesne biomase pokrili 50 % energetskih potreb, nakazuje zgornjo možno mejo izrabe biomase. Izraba biomase v energetske namene je smiselna do meje, kjer les nima več ekonomske vrednosti za morebitne druge proizvode.

Title:
Industrial boilers and combustion chambers for biomass burning : graduation thesis - higher professional studies
Abstract:
Public awareness campaigns on climate change and limited oil sources are the most important factors of increasing utilization of biomass. Biomass is divided into wooden and non-wooden plants using CO2 for their growth. CO2 returns into the environment while burning and rotting which means that there is no surplus of CO2 and no negative impact on our climate. The end user gets comfortable energy supply by exploiting different production and modification techniques. Good utilization of biomass can be achieved through modernization of respective devices. A shift from genuine air traction devices to constrained traction devices was the biggest step ever made for the quality of biomass. A sufficient amount of O2 is brought to the combustion chamber this way which enables high utilization of accumulated energy and smallest possible share of environment unfriendly substances. We can mention the systems of remote heating as a good practice case for biomass rich areas. The system encompasses a burning unit and heating tubes through which energy is brought to individual units. Heat transfers separating the individual and the remote heating system are placed inside these units. 50 % of energy needs could be covered only by the increment of wooden biomass in Slovenia on a yearly basis. This calculation points to the highest possible limit of biomass utilization. Such utilization is only reasonable when wood no longer has any economic value for producing other products.
