The objective of the thesis is to determine the spatial development opportunities of the settlement Horjul and make a proposal for its regulation. The thesis consists of a theoretical and practical part.
The theoretical part presents characteristics of the Slovenian countryside, the starting points for planning and regulatory framework of spatial planning in Slovenia, with an emphasis on rural planning area.
The second part is practical and applies to the settlement Horjul. In the first place it is presented the municipality of Horjul and within the context also the eponymous settlement Horjul. Then follows a detailed spatial analysis of the settlement, which is graphically displayed on maps drawn to scale 1 : 4500. Separate analysis apply to the relief, actual use of space, use of facilities, the course of the ridge structures, activities in the settlement, traffic equipment of the settlement, security and environmental constraints. Morphological and visual analysis has also been carried out. On the basis of the analysis results of the settlement in the last part of the thesis a settlement development concept has been presented.
